Fireworks over the water
Even mother nature couldn't deter our annual Fireworks over the water. With rain on and off most of the day and the heavy threat at night, mother nature was kind enough to give us a small window so we could provide the community with our annual spectacle. Low cloud cover did hinder some of the large fireworks displays.
There was still a large group of boats on the lake although the actual numbers were lower than usual.
We are still acception donation for next year's event. Please contact one of our board members if you wish to make a donation.

A special thank you to the US Army Corp of Engineers for keeping the lake level low enough for us to put the show on.

Pioneer Days and Fall Festival
On October 6, 2007 in conjunction with the Hickory County Historical Society and Museum, Pomme de Terre Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is once again putting on the annual "Pioneer Days and Fall Festival.
Planned are:
Live music at the Hickory County Museum, and Hermitage square.
Hot and cold foods provided by Cupcakes, and Museum.
Many local area trade vendors.
