The Pomme de Terre Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has officially launched its "Looking for work" database.
In our efforts to help out the entire Hickory County, we've began to collect the names of individuals whom are looking for employment.

What we are offering is a way for our local businesses who are looking for help a way of quickly filling those positions. Local residents who fill out our form are entered into a database then a PDF file is created and uploaded to our website. Businesses whom have an opening then can view this file by obtaining a special link upon request to the chamber.

Residents can fill out our form then submit it on line. Only the information provided on that form will be available to Businesses who view the listing.

The Chamber will NEVER release, use, sell, or barter this information other than what is put on the special listing. Individuals will remain on the form for a period of 90 days. Then a new form will have to be submitted to the Chamber for relisting.

* The Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for typographical errors and this information will be made available to the Chamber members who are looking to hire people from the area. The Chamber makes no representation that there will be any work as a result of this posting, simply to offer those looking for employment exposure to those looking to hire people. The Chamber further does not verify the accuracy of these postings but would recommend that the information be verifiable to those potential employers as most prospective employers will do a back ground check prior to hiring any new person.
