President Damon Smith called the meeting to order
Minutes of the last meeting were not presented, as the December Meeting was a Dinner in which no business was conducted.
Treasurer - Earle Hammond presented the Treasurers report. Earle reported
the Chamber currently has $12,979.29 in the Checking account, $1755.20
in the Savings (Fireworks fund), and $5178.98 in the Building fund.
Old Business was a recap of 2009 Chamber activities.
Gary Neely reminded the Chamber members of the new Employment Program on the Website. "Looking for Work" is collecting names of individual in the area who are looking for work. This will give local businesses a way of quickly filling vacancies in their workforce. Residents can fill out the form and submit it on line. Local business need to contact Gary for ID and passwords for access to the site. Information is stored on the site for 90 days and must be renewed periodically.
Earle Hammond reported that he and Jim Wilson worked a booth at the KC Sport Show and handed out about 2000 of the new "Pomme de Terre Lake 2010 Vacation and Service Guide."
New Business was election of offices for 2010 and appointing committee chairpersons.

The 2010 Budget will be presented at the February meeting.
President Smith presented Dan Robinson the Lucas Oil Speedway certificate
of membership.
New Chamber stickers for were presented to the businesses in attendance
to place on prominent windows or doors to show their Chamber of Commerce
membership.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:15pm
The next regular meeting will be February 8 at 7:00pm at the Chamber Office.
